The Open Story in a Cup of Coffee
Entering the coffee industry caf é, the rich aroma of coffee fills the air. The exhibition area is themed around "Coffee Forest" and incorporates ecological planting concepts into the exhibition design. Presenting a three-dimensional symbiosis between coffee and forests, mutual assistance among multiple ethnic groups, and a sustainable closed-loop from seeds to soil.

In her opinion, the South China International Fair is an important open window for Yunnan to face South Asia and Southeast Asia. We hope to showcase the best products of Menglian and let more people know and understand Menglian Coffee
It is reported that Menglian, located at the southwestern end of Colorful Yunnan, is known for its lush green mountains, flowing clear waters, and fragrant coffee. It enjoys the dual reputation of being the "Hometown of Chinese Avocados" and the "First County of Chinese Premium Coffee". As one of the core coffee producing areas in Yunnan, Menglian has continuously promoted the development of boutique coffee in recent years. It not only brings premium coffee products, but also showcases specialty products such as avocado biscuits and avocado flower cakes, demonstrating the integrated development achievements of "coffee+specialty agriculture".

Technology empowers new quality productivity in agriculture
Entering the 12th Modern Agriculture Museum, the fragrance of flowers fills the face. A giant lily art installation composed of 50000 Yunnan fresh cut flowers is particularly eye-catching. Lily symbolizes harmony and beauty, and also represents the achievements of the continuous high-end development of Yunnan's flower industry, "said Li Chenyun, the Operations and Management Department of Yunnan Agricultural Development Group. This year, the group participated in the exhibition with the theme of" co creation with nature ", showcasing six major industrial achievements including" glue, grain, sugar, tea, coffee, and flowers ".

Li Chenyun introduced that the group has gradually broken through foreign technological monopolies through independent research and development, and achieved domestic breeding of lily bulbs.
In addition to the floral industry, a series of agricultural technological achievements are also attracting attention: high-performance tobacco film adhesive applied in the field of aviation tires, fully biodegradable plastic film made from sugarcane bagasse and straw, and experimental field data platform monitored in real-time through digital systems… These achievements have become vivid footnotes to the transformation of Yunnan's agriculture towards technological and green development.

Even on the plateau, salmon can swim out
This year, the Modern Agriculture Pavilion at the South China International Fair also features a new face for the first time – the "Cloud Fisheries and Aquatic Products" exhibition area. As the first professional fishery exhibition area established in the Modern Agriculture Museum, "Cloud Fishery" showcases specialty products such as sturgeon caviar, plateau salmon, astaxanthin, and indigenous fish, becoming a popular area for many visitors to check in and experience. Among them, the quality of caviar meets international high-end standards and is exported to European and American markets, making it a benchmark for Yunnan cold water fish's high-end and international development.

Many people don't know that high-quality salmon can also be raised on the Yunnan Plateau, "said Peng Wentao, Chairman of Yunnan Binkun Zhongzhi Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd. Relying on high-altitude cold spring resources, Yunnan has become an important cold water fish farming base in China. Peng Wentao introduced that salmon is a typical cold water fish with high requirements for water quality and temperature, and Yunnan's abundant cold spring resources provide natural advantages for industrial development.
Data shows that the current supply of salmon species in Yunnan accounts for about 30% of the national total. With the upgrading of consumption, people's demand for high-quality animal protein continues to grow, and the high-altitude cold water fish industry is becoming a new growth point for Yunnan's high-altitude characteristic agriculture.
I hope that through the South China International Fair, more people can know that salmon can also swim on the plateau, and Yunnan cold water fish can enter a broader market, "said Peng Wentao.
A wild mushroom connects the international market
In addition to coffee, flowers, and fisheries, another characteristic agricultural business card of Yunnan – the wild mushroom industry – also received much attention at this year's South China International Fair. As the "Kingdom of Wild Fungi in the World", Yunnan has the richest wild edible mushroom resources in the country. In recent years, with the upgrading of consumption and the continuous improvement of the industrial chain, wild mushrooms are accelerating their transformation from seasonal agricultural products to standardized and branded industries. At this year's South China International Fair, the under construction Fungi International Wild Fungi Trading Center made its debut and became one of the highly anticipated new projects.
We hope to create not only a trading market, but also an industrial complex that integrates trading, display, cultural and creative industries, live streaming, e-commerce, and standard setting, "said Bao Tian, the person in charge of the Mushroom International Wild Mushroom Trading Center. The project is planned to be put into trial operation in July this year, with the wild mushroom industry as the core, to build a full industry chain platform covering fresh goods trading, product display, brand operation, e-commerce live streaming, and supply chain services. We hope that tourists, buyers, and international merchants who come to Yunnan can learn about Yunnan's characteristic industries and purchase high-quality products here in one stop, achieving the goal of 'taking Yunnan away', "said Bao Tian.
She hopes to use the South China International Fair as an open platform to further expand overseas market resources, strengthen cooperation with South and Southeast Asian countries in agricultural product trade, cold chain logistics, and deep processing, and bring more "cloud bacteria" to the world's dining table.
