No need to scan or follow, the first cup of coffee upon arrival in Shanghai is here for you!

On the noon of August 28th, in front of the Party and Mass Service Center of Hongqiao Comprehensive Transportation Hub on the B1 arrival floor of Hongqiao Railway Station, passengers dragging suitcases stopped one after another and took their coffee. As a featured event of the 2026 National Cybersecurity Awareness Week in Shanghai, this "first cup of cybersecurity coffee arriving in Shanghai" has been unveiled for the second year at the gateway of Minhang, a city in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Following the transformation of Hongqiao Comprehensive Transportation Hub into the city's first network security hub "station" space last year, under the guidance of the Municipal Party Committee's Cyberspace Office, the Cyberspace Office of Minhang District Committee and Xinhong Street have once again joined forces. Managers from Hongqiao International Coffee Port and local specialty coffee shops, such as Bitun Coffee and ADDIS COFFEE, stood in a row at the exhibition booth. Every cup of coffee sent out is covered with a customized internet security themed cup cover. This year marks the fifth anniversary of the official implementation of the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China. This heartwarming public welfare activity uses coffee as a carrier to integrate personal information protection and network security knowledge into daily travel, making publicity more warm.

If it's just scanning the code, I won't receive it, "said Mr. Wang, who came from Shenzhen to Shanghai to work in the IT industry, as he took the coffee. He said that he had seen many drainage tricks of" scanning the code to receive benefits ", and this pure public welfare promotion actually made people feel grounded. According to statistics, the event delivered over 100 cups of "Wang'an Special Recipe" coffee within two hours.

Cultural and creative products related to network security themes were launched on site, including "civilized internet access", "cautious words and actions", and "network security is no small matter". Ms. Qin, who took her child on a trip back to Shanghai at the end of summer vacation, was carefully selecting stickers with her daughter: "Nowadays, children are exposed to the internet early, and safety education should start from an early age. This form of learning while playing is something that children are willing to accept

In addition, passengers can also get a "network security ID card" to enjoy exclusive benefits at Hongqiao Xintiandi, the commercial complex nearest to Hongqiao Hub. "As the first consumer destination after many tourists arrived in Shanghai, we always put network security and fire safety in the same important position." The relevant person in charge of Hongqiao Xintiandi said that he hoped to jointly safeguard consumer trust and brand credibility through joint cooperation with the street.

In recent years, the promotion of cybersecurity in Shanghai has been continuously sinking towards the front lines with dense crowds, complex scenarios, and close risks. The Hongqiao comprehensive transportation hub is both the "first stop" for most passengers arriving in Shanghai and the "last stop" for leaving the city. We hope to vividly convey the spirit of 'cybersecurity for the people', and also hope that everyone understands that cybersecurity always accompanies and protects everyone throughout the entire cycle, "said the person in charge of Minhang District.
