Mark, the manager of Man Lao Jiang Coffee:

Australian roasters have been rooted in Spring City for 18 years, using baking as a bridge to let the aroma of Yunnan coffee drift further

Bai Ruimark, the manager of Manlaojiang Coffee, is an Australian roaster who has been deeply involved in Yunnan coffee for 18 years and the founder of a local boutique coffee roasting factory in Kunming. He entered the coffee industry in 1997 and settled in Kunming in 2005. He has long regarded Chuncheng as his second hometown and personally witnessed the magnificent transformation of Yunnan coffee from low-end commercial beans to boutique coffee.

For many years, Mark has adhered to the concept of localization and deep cultivation, with 80% of the brand's raw materials coming from core coffee producing areas in Yunnan such as Baoshan, Menglian, and Binchuan. Relying on diverse roasting techniques and innovative research and development of unique blended styles with Columbia beans, we have over 50 coffee beans on hand to meet various consumer taste needs. This year, he participated in the exhibition for the first time and stayed on site for nine days. His cross-border joint creation of coffee and beer became a hot selling item in the market. Regarding the current situation of the industry, Mark stated that there is a shortage of high-quality coffee production capacity in Yunnan. He hopes that the local coffee planting industry will continue to expand, allowing high-quality Yunnan small grain coffee to go abroad and spread globally.

Bruce, Republic of Burundi:

Yunnan coffee is the best coffee in China

Bruce from Burundi, an East African country known as the "Heart of Africa", visited Kunming for the first time with his own specialty coffee and also made his debut in the exhibition. Bruce introduced that Burundi coffee has a unique flavor and is gradually moving towards the international market. The purpose of this exhibition in Burundi is to show the Burundian specialty coffee to Chinese consumers and invite local people to experience its unique flavor. Upon his first visit to Kunming, Bruce was deeply impressed by the pleasant climate and friendly citizens, and felt honored to promote his country's coffee here. Bruce also tasted Yunnan coffee at the exhibition site and appreciated its outstanding taste and outstanding production advantages. He said that Yunnan coffee is the best coffee in China and sincerely invited friends from all walks of life to taste and fall in love with Yunnan coffee. Bruce said that the two major production areas have their own advantages. He looked forward to the establishment of long-term cooperation between Yunnan coffee enterprises and relevant institutions and Burundi coffee enterprises to achieve win-win results in the industry.

David Faber, Brand Manager of Tanzania Shanyun Coffee:

Yunnan coffee is a global high-quality blending base with broad prospects for cross-border cooperation

David, a coffee merchant originally from Tanzania, has 17 years of experience in Yunnan coffee business and founded the brand "Unique", which specializes in Yunnan local coffee beans with three roasting degrees: light, medium, and deep. He stated that Yunnan coffee has outstanding freshness advantages and is close to the domestic consumer market, making it a high-quality blending base. The brand has launched multiple cross-border blending products of Yunnan beans paired with Ethiopian and Kenyan beans. David, who participated in the Kunming Coffee Carnival for the first time, was originally worried about the diversion of attention from imported coffee. However, the high love and willingness to purchase Yunnan coffee among on-site tourists greatly encouraged him. David believes that Yunnan coffee has great potential for two-way cooperation with the coffee industry of various countries around the world, and there are numerous business opportunities in import, export, and blending research and development. He praised the establishment of a diverse coffee culture exchange platform by Carnival, and looked forward to inviting overseas practitioners to meet again at the Coffee Carnival next year to experience the unique local coffee flavor in Yunnan.
